Learning Willow is a big Deathmatch fan means that if we cover Danny Havoc I’m going to try damn hard to get her on the podcast!
Got to love how everyone essentially had a weapon dedicated to them – Skye with the barbed wire kendo stick, Harley with Mini Mone hiding brass knuckles, Mercedes with all of the belts etc.
Skye covered in blood while yelling THIS IS MY MATCH then doing a great evil smile needs to be on a shirt ASAP.
Toni winning the looks with her Mommy Dearest homage (maybe with a bit of Joker in but not JUST Joker OK?!), she should have took in a wire hanger with the pearls too!

As much as I enjoyed Hangman vs Hobbs... I kind of wished that had main evented Collision. Dynamite being THE Blood and Guts show match wise y’know?
Men’s B&G was fun (but the women’s was slightly better!)
The PTSD on Mox since All In making him go into tap out mode when put in a submission or desperation tactic is a nice story beat – question is though when will the Death Riders decide that Mox is the weak link?
I haven’t done too many for the B&G matches on purpose – go and seek both out as they’re MOTYC for sure!
The Aftermath aka Collision
PAC challenging Darby makes me wonder if HE will become the leader rather than Claudio post removal of Mox – I mean he was the leader of Death Triangle while Claudio wasn’t when he’s been in factions before! (Ares was the leader of the Brudenschaft Der Kruzes after all if you know your Chikara lore and yes I’m surprised I got the BDK’s full name correct after all these years too.)
I find it real interesting that Yuta’s the only one without an individual theme in the Death Riders… shows his place in the group.
The countdown to Adam Priest getting to be his true heel self continues… still weird having him as a babyface.
Mox taking over commentary for the night as only he can is wonderful – him getting concerned for Marina and freaking out later when they show the tapout montage were great moments.
Battle of the Marks was fun – great to see Aussie Mark back and hopefully we get a heel Aussie Open tag run for a bit one Takeshita’s turned face…
Hyan and Maya World actually were willing to lose twice and haven’t got the brain rot of the Shining MAGAts (little name for Newell and Alize…) so TK should let them shine!
Kyle vs Scorpio – should have been a squash really. The Skyflight idea as much as I love Top Flight is dragging them down. Them and the whole Acclaimed crap are the worst segments whenever they show up on AEW like the Frat House on ROH.
Another lovely All-star 8-man tag to main event collision – the tag division really shining this year and I’m going to be sad when the inevitable FTR tag title run happens – not because FTR won because this heel run has actually been refreshing but because it means the COPEverse has to return. (Just avoid using any Trailer Park Boys characters this time… just in case!)
