What’re your highlights of the year so far?
DTW- Touring and practising!
What are your goals for the rest of the year?
We have a European tour coming up in November we are very excited about it!!! I am also excited to get back into the studio.
Which new bands/artists are you into right now?
DTW- Honestly I have been too busy to really check anything out other than the bands we play shows with on the tours. Lots of killer bands out there.
AI has become a bone of contention among creators. What’s your view of it?
DTW- I think it can be a useful tool maybe but we have to remember what AI stands for. Artificial Intelligence will never be real intelligence so we can never truly be replaced. We ourselves are flawed and are the inventors of such artificial intelligence so it will be flawed as well!!!!
What has been the wildest show on the US tour so far, and why?
DTW- I don’t know if I can really answer that question accurately. It’s all a blur. Lots of pits!!!!
You’re hitting European shores this winter. How’s the response been to the announcement?
DTW- Really great so far!! We are excited to play our music in new places!
What inspired the lyrics behind Introspective Nightmares?
DTW- I think it was mostly about being disgusted with life and drinking into oblivion to cope with it all. It is kind of reflective of a person I once knew.
You’ve been playing classic Nile tracks on tour, how has the response been?
DTW- Really good actually I did not know if anyone would give a fuck lol!
What can you tell us about your plans in 2026?
DTW- We actually do have some plans for more touring in the states next year and more new music is on the way!
